The Miami Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on an application for a conditional use on the 8th day of July, 2026, at 7 p.m. at the Miami Township building located at 112 Jefferson Street, Quincy, OH, 43343.
The application, applied for by Kyle and Kimberly Williams, requests that a conditional use be granted for the following property located in the U-1 district to permit Recreational Vehicles as specified in Section 1007 of the Miami Township Zoning Resolution. The proposed recreational vehicle use is intended to allow the property owners to live in their 5th-wheel camper while their new home is being built.

Public Notice
The Miami Township Zoning Commission, Logan County, OH, will hold a public hearing concerning proposed amendments to the Miami Township Zoning Resolution on July 20, 2026 at 5:30 PM at the Miami Township Hall. The building address is 112 Jefferson Street, Quincy, OH 43343.
The proposed amendments, initiated by motion of the Zoning Commission, propose to amend Article II Definitions by adding a definition of "Battery Energy Storage System, Small Off-Site" and "Data Center" and amends the definition of "Public Service Facility". It also amends "Section 900 Compliance With Regulations" by clarifying prohibited uses.
The text and map(s) of the proposed amendment will be available for examination at the Miami Township Hall between the hours of 10 am and 6 pm for a period of 10 days prior to the public hearing. The building address is 112 Jefferson Street, Quincy, OH 43343.
After the conclusion of such hearing, the matter will be submitted to the Miami Township Board of Trustees for its action.
